DPD – ODF Driver Partner with DPD in Durham and become a self‑employed Owner Driver using your own van! If you have a reliable van, you can hit the road with us and start earning right away. The Best Connection are currently seeking to recruit experienced HGV Class 2 (LGV

C) drivers to work with our client based in Gateshead. Our client specialises in the delivery of ambient, chilled, and frozen food and drink products across the North East.

• Multi‑drop Class 2 driving, delivering to high‑security establishments.
• Use of tail‑lift and wheeling cages to the rear of the vehicle.
• Fast, efficient, and accurate deliveries on scheduled routes.
• Customer‑facing role with a friendly and professional attitude.

Requirements:

• Valid and in‑date Cat C driving licence, CPC card, and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 2 years Class 2 driving experience.
• Smart appearance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude towards customer service.

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 07:00am start time
Pay Rates (PAYE): £17.26 per hour basic rate for first 45 hours per week, £25.14 per hour overtime rate after first 45 hours per week
Minimum Assignment Length: 4 weeks
