Our client is seeking a Business Analyst - Financial Applications for their team. Reporting to the Manager, Financial Applications, the Business Analyst – Financial Applications plays a key role in supporting and optimizing financial systems. This position is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Business Analyst will work hands-on with the ERP and other financial applications to resolve issues, improve processes, and contribute to continuous enhancement initiatives that strengthen the organization’s financial systems and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary escalation point for issues related to ERP and financial applications beyond standard support processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day system incidents and stakeholder requests across financial applications.
- Work collaboratively with Business and Systems Analysts to maintain and enhance ERP and financial systems through configuration, incident management, and feature development.
- Analyze business processes and system workflows to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Build deep, hands-on expertise in ERP and financial applications to investigate issues, determine root causes, and support effective resolutions.
- Conduct impact analyses across modules and integrated systems to ensure changes are sustainable, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
- Act as a key liaison between Finance, operational business units, technical teams, and external vendors.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into system specifications, configurations, and customizations.
- Support audit cycles by collecting, preparing, and presenting required system evidence.
Exceptional communication skills, stakeholder management abilities, and a commitment to consistent, high-quality work are key to thriving in this role. Candidates with functional experience in ERP platforms such as IFS, D365, or SAP, along with a background in Finance or Accounting, will be well-positioned for success. This role requires a strong on-site presence, with employees expected to work from the office at least four days per week to support effective collaboration.
