Full or Associate Professor, Head of Pediatrics General Division

The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva and the University Hospitals of Geneva are seeking applications for the position of Full or Associate Professor, Head of Pediatrics General Division.

CHARGE: This is a joint University Hospital and Faculty position as Head of the Pediatrics General Division, including a part‑time appointment as professor. This position is attached to the Hospital Department of the Woman, Child and Adolescent and the Academic Department of Pediatrics, Gynecology and Obstetrics.

• Lead a large university clinical division with a high level of consultation activity, supervising, organising and developing the activity within the division which includes various consultation sectors according to patient age, adolescent medicine, oncology, infectiology, immunology, vaccinology and pediatric rheumatology.
• Maintain existing relationships with other HUG divisions and develop strong links with established pediatricians and other non‑hospital pediatric structures as a reference centre for Geneva and Swiss pediatricians.
• Lead high‑level research in pediatrics, proving mentoring, team management and teaching skills at the pre‑graduate and post‑graduate levels.

• Doctorate in Medicine and specialization in Pediatrics or equivalent qualifications.
• Good knowledge of French.
• Relevant experience in research supervision and teaching.
• Publications in major international peer‑reviewed journals.
