THE ROLE

EPAM is actively looking for a seasoned Lead Security Engineer in Geneva to work in the fintech space. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of zero-trust architecture and security standards as well as a strong background in implementing complex cyber security systems.

You’ll work alongside highly skilled consultants, designers, architects and fellow engineers. Together, you’ll enable our customers to forge ahead of their competition and disrupt the market with cutting‑edge technology solutions.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement from Geneva. We are open to relocations and cross border commuters for this position.

• Regularly analyze current security protocols and measures to evaluate their effectiveness within a zero‑trust framework
• Develop, implement and maintain security policies and procedures in accordance with the zero‑trust model
• Manage the integration of security systems and measures to ensure optimal protection and compliance
• Maintain knowledge of the latest security trends, threats and technologies that could impact our security architecture
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure organizational‑wide compliance to security policies and regulations

• Security or IT‑focused university degree (Bachelors) OR equivalent experience
• Proven experience as a security engineer with specific expertise in zero‑trust architectures
• Strong understanding of network and security infrastructure
• Ability to interpret and translate security requirements into practical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Knowledge of the French language is a significant advantage
