IT Banking Consultant; Avaloq

After an initial training period on the Avaloq core banking system, our consultants will join a project team and work hand in hand with our clients in order to implement the system in accordance to their needs.

Forty2 provides significant support for ongoing professional development and will support you in further developing your skills. You will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative, international team of experts supporting a range of clients, including top tier banks.

• Analysis, design and implementation of technical solutions in close cooperation with the customer
• The creation of technical and functional specifications
• Proactively contribute to the timely completion of workstream deliverables, maintaining high quality standards at all times
• Full responsibility for the configuration and integration of Avaloq Core Banking solution
• Support of product and business development activities

• University degree, preferably in computer science or economics
• Experience with Core Banking solutions would be an advantage but not a must
• Ability to understand the functional requirements of the client and map those to Avaloq products and/or to configure the system to meet the client’s needs (both would clearly be an advantage)
• Experience with in financial industry and strong IT background ideally with knowledge of the banking sector
• PL/SQL knowledge
• Good stakeholder management & analytical skills
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, is required. Proficiency in German is considered a strong advantage
• Willingness to travel and to work at client sites in Switzerland and abroad

Only candidates residing in Switzerland or EU/EFTA citizens willing to relocate to Switzerland will be considered for this position.
