What you’ll do
Administer the API Gateway to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations for users. Execute changes, updates, and configurations in the API Gateway as required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and provide optimal solutions.
Provide a layer of support to the L3 support team, assisting with complex technical issues related to the API Gateway.
Maintain and improve the central body of knowledge related to the API Gateway, including documentation, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.
Monitor the performance and availability of the API Gateway, proactively identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks.
Collaborate with development teams to implement enhancements and improvements to the API Gateway infrastructure.
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in API management technologies, recommending and implementing relevant updates or changes.
Profile Requirement
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of non-internship technical IT industry experience, focused on system integration and administration.
3+ years of proven experience API GW Management.
Familiarity with API management best practices, security protocols, and performance optimization techniques and experience in executing changes, updates, and configurations in API Gateway platforms.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bonus points if you have:
Familiarity with Java programming language and automation tools is a plus.
Relevant Mulesoft certifications in API Gateway management are desirable.
Strong experience in SOA, REST and system integration.
