Heating and Air Conditioning systems has an immediate opening for aPress Brake Operator in our Madison, Ga. facility.
This isa2ndSHIFT- 10 hours, 4 days per week schedule Monday-Thursday4:30 PM - 3:00 AM.Candidate must be able to work overtime when needed, which may include Fridays and Saturdays.

Summary:

Operates power fabrication machines to bend or punch parts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Bends and punches parts in accordance with production guidelines.
• Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
• Notifies supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
• Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
• Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for 10 hours daily.
• Physically agile and dexterous.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Able to work independently.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED is required
• Ability to read and understand safety procedures and work instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers andteam members.
