Industrial Electrical Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background with hands-on experience working with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and drives, along with the mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery.

Responsibilities Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic to diagnose equipment issues.

Troubleshoot electrical systems and 480V, 3-phase motors.

Perform mechanical repairs, including replacing motors, gearboxes, sprockets, bearings, and other equipment components.

Diagnose equipment failures and perform corrective and preventative maintenance.

Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs, troubleshooting, and parts replacements using SAP.Utilize a laptop and Microsoft applications to track daily assignments, document completed work, and communicate with team members.

Work with production and maintenance personnel to minimize equipment downtime and maintain reliable operations.

Qualifications Previous industrial maintenance experience with a strong electrical troubleshooting background.

Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and drives.

Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic.

Experience troubleshooting 480V, 3-phase motors and industrial electrical systems.

Mechanical aptitude with experience repairing motors, gearboxes, sprockets, and bearings.

Basic computer skills and ability to document work electronically.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications Experience using SAP or another CMMS for maintenance work orders.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and email communication.

Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
