We are seeking a Solar Structure Design Engineer to join our renewable energy team. The role involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing structural systems for solar installations, ensuring safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness across diverse environments.



Key Responsibilities

Structural Design & Analysis

Develop designs for solar mounting structures (rooftop, ground-mounted, carports, and trackers).

Technical Documentation

Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and bill of materials.

Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and international guidelines (IEC, IS, ASCE, etc.).

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with electrical engineers, civil engineers, and project managers to integrate structural designs into overall solar projects.

Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, and installation phases.

Innovation & Optimization

Research new materials and technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Optimize designs for ease of installation and long-term reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).

3-7 years of experience in structural design, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects.

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, Tekla) and structural analysis tools (STAAD.Pro, ANSYS).

Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and renewable energy systems.

Familiarity with international codes and standards for structural safety.

Skills & Competencies

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Perform load calculations considering wind, snow, seismic, and other environmental factors.

Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and structural simulations.
