We are seeking a highly capable and team-oriented Infrastructure Engineer to join our clients IT team in Gillingham. You'll play a key role in maintaining and evolving their infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and performance across their systems.

• Support and manage infrastructure solutions in a hybrid environment (on-premise and cloud).

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain systems and applications to ensure operational effectiveness.

• Collaborate with other teams and departments to implement new technologies and processes in line with business objectives.

• Follow established business procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes.

• Active Directory - GPOs, authentication protocols, domain controller support.

• VMWare - ESXi, vCenter, troubleshooting and performance tuning.

• VEEAM Backup - Configuration, support and recovery processes.

• Solar Winds - Monitoring and alerting systems.

• Core Network Services - DNS, DHCP, domain controller management.

• Windows Server - In-depth knowledge of Server and upgrade strategies.

• Understanding of Sec Ops and Dev Ops philosophies and their impact on infrastructure.

Experience or exposure to:

• Storage technologies such as MSA, Net App, 3
  
  PAR, or other SAN environments.

• Microsoft Intune - Endpoint management and policy control.

• SCCM - Software, application, and package deployment.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow structured business processes and procedures.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

• Strong team player with the flexibility to support wider business needs.
