As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be doing:

* Support the technical review and evaluation of heavy plant machinery designs, including producing technical reports and documentation.

* Assist in preparing specifications and analysing design proposals for industrial equipment projects.

* Collaborate with manufacturing and commissioning teams to ensure designs are practical and implementable.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will need:

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in a heavy mechanical / plant environment.

* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and components.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Commutable to Gillingham
