Financial Reporting Assistant Manager
BDO is an accountancy and business advisory firm that provides advice and solutions to businesses across the UK. We are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to join our Business Services and Outsourcing team.
OverviewIn this role you will work on diverse compliance projects and have the opportunity to dive into advisory work. You will lead complex statutory accounting projects, support the manager team, and liaise with clients, audit, tax and other teams to ensure seamless collaboration. You will also help drive the team's development and make a real impact.
ResponsibilitiesYou’ll be someone who can work pro‑actively, managing your own tasks and collaborating with others. You will communicate regularly with senior managers, directors and BDO’s partners, identify opportunities for enhancing delivery, and provide additional services to our clients.
Qualifications- Qualified ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent.
- Excellent working knowledge of FRS 102 and related financial reporting requirements; previous experience preparing statutory accounts.
- Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
- Evidence of ability to research technical accounting matters.
- Ability to prioritise and plan effectively, adopting a logical and methodical approach to meet tight deadlines.
