Practice Accountant

Our client is a firm of accountants based in the south side of Glasgow that offers a wide range of accounting, taxation, and business advisory services to a wide variety of OMB businesses and individuals.

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join their team of eleven. Reporting to the Partners, the role will involve the following responsibilities:

• Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and charities
• Ad-hoc preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Assisting with personal tax compliance
• Assisting with the occasional audit (optional)
• Working within set budgets and time scales
• Regular engagement with clients and colleagues

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within professional practice
• Strong core skills of statutory accounts preparation for OMB clients
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Strong team player

This role would suit a qualified or QBE accountant looking to join a personable and reputable independent firm where work‑life balance is valued.

Salary up to £50,000 (DOE) + benefits package. Flexible working.
