now looking to strengthen our team with an Experienced Accountant (Senior/Semi‑Senior) with a solid practice background.

Brief Job Description

This is a client‑facing position where you’ll work with a varied portfolio of Limited Companies, Partnerships, and Sole Traders. You’ll be preparing year‑end accounts, management accounts, supporting clients with day‑to‑day queries, and, where possible, assisting with tax compliance and advisory work.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation of statutory accounts for Limited Companies, Partnerships, and Sole Traders
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and relevant legislation
• Managing client relationships with professionalism and discretion
• Assisting with Corporation Tax and Personal Tax Returns (ideal candidate)
• Utilising CCH software to deliver accurate and efficient outcomes

Requirements for the role

• Proven experience in an accountancy practice (essential)
• Proficiency in accounts preparation and tax compliance
• Experience with CCH software preferred
• ACCA/CA qualified or part‑qualified (or qualified by experience)
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Ability to manage your own workload while contributing to a supportive team environment
