Now, in partnership with Iconic Resourcing Accountancy & Finance, we’re excited to help find their next Senior Accounts Assistant to their Glasgow‑based team in Blythswood Square.

Where You’ll Make an Impact
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting a diverse client portfolio across sectors including construction, hospitality, healthcare, recruitment, and more. You’ll bring clarity, confidence, and practical expertise to their finances by:
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records
- Managing all aspects of corporate and personal taxation
- Producing high‑quality accounts
- Building strong client relationships through clear, personable communication
- Juggling multiple workflows in a fast‑paced environment
- Working collaboratively within a dedicated support team
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who is not only technically capable but also motivated, communicative, and client focused. To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within an accountancy practice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage and prioritise your own workload to meet varied deadlines
- A proactive, driven, and determined approach
Knowledge of the following software is beneficial (but not essential):
- Iris Accountancy Suite
- Xero
- Sage Accounts
- Quick Books
