Temporary Purchase Ledger
Ongoing temp - could go permanent
Glasgow North
9 - 5 Monday to Friday
£14 - £15 per hour (40 hours per week)
Oliver Smith Recruitment are currently working with our key client in Glasgow to recruit a temporary Purchase Ledger.
My client is looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years experience in Accounts Payable.
Duties:
- Ensure where relevant all invoices are appropriately authorised
- Accurate posting of invoices into the purchase ledger
- Assisting with preparation of payment runs
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Posting journals
- Maintain and create new supplier accounts
- Assisting with audit preparation
- Managing the Overheads e-mail inbox
- Other ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Support with month end routines and reporting (accruals/prepayments).
- Liaising with internal staff and suppliers to resolve invoice queries
- To provide cover for other Accounts Payable Assistants
