Commissioning Operations Apprentice

Duration: 12‑month full‑time apprenticeship (60% office, 40% remote) with formal learning sessions.
About the ApprenticeshipYou’ll gain valuable work experience in the Commissioning department while working towards a SCQF Level 6 Diploma in Digital Application Support. The programme is designed for school leavers and people without a degree, with an emphasis on supporting under‑represented groups.
Eligibility- Minimum age 18 years or over at the start date.
- Grade C (4) or above in Maths & English GCSE.
- Must not have already completed this qualification.
- Open to school leavers and those without a degree; applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged.
- Provide administrative support including diary management, meeting minutes, travel arrangements, and expense filing.
- Support project management for key initiatives such as the Emerging Indie Fund and 4
Producers Network. - Maintain accurate databases of suppliers and independent producers.
- Assist with the 4
Producers website and newsletter updates. - Support delivery of virtual and in‑person events and functions.
- Provide cross‑functional support to other Commissioning teams (e.g., Creative Diversity team) as required.
- Handle visitors to the team appropriately.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and other reports.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail, including proofreading and accurate data entry.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Understanding of and passion for Channel 4’s remit.
- Confirmed Maths & English GCSE Grade C (4) or above.
- Interest in on‑screen talent and content across linear and digital platforms.
- Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, email).
- Problem‑solving initiative and adaptability.
- Positive, willingness to learn, and flexible approach.
Diploma in Digital Application Support, SCQF Level 6.
