The SAP Business Development Manager, leads the creation, identification, and development of large innovative Analytics / Mobility business opportunities. SAP BDM success is measured by the pipeline created and the value of business won. The BDM is responsible for dynamic market screening, thought leadership, demand creation, opportunity identification, development, and selection of opportunities that support the business development campaign strategy. SAP BDM must be able to demonstrate deep understanding of the SAP marketplace and its future as well as client's business, organization, culture, pain points, and compelling reasons to act on new directions.

The SAP BDM should be able to create, articulate, and sell an innovative business vision and value proposition based upon the thought leadership developed as part of the campaign.

• Sales pipeline development and management
• Client relationship-building and associated call planning
• Appropriate interaction with the various CLIENT teams to successfully pursue/engage on the opportunities so that the client clearly understands CLIENT's value proposition in this business area

Must be located in the Chicago area

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 5 years experience in Business development, consulting and delivery of SAP solutions in Business Analytics and Mobility
• At least 5 years experience in business process re-engineering at an executive level
• At least 5 years experience in business operations and strategy at an executive level
• Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)

• Master's Degree
• At least 10 years experience in Business development, consulting and delivery of SAP solutions in Business Analytics and Mobility
• At least 10 years experience in business process re-engineering at an executive level
• At least 10 years experience in business operations and strategy at an executive level
