An established, global professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to support its UK Public Sector sales activity. This is a hands-on role for a bid professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys shaping high-quality, solution-led proposals.
You will join a global opportunity management function that partners closely with sales and subject matter experts to deliver end-to-end bid and proposal support. The role involves managing the full bid lifecycle for public sector opportunities, including RFIs, RFPs, tenders and frameworks. You will identify relevant opportunities, manage qualification and governance, coordinate inputs, and own the written response from initial drafting through to final submission.
You will also support pitch preparation, client clarifications and BAFOs, track bid outcomes and contribute insights to improve future performance. Typical opportunities are frameworks or tenders under £250k with short turnaround times.
You will bring several years experience in bid management, with strong expertise in UK public sector procurement and frameworks. Excellent writing, editing and document production skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. You will be commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working with senior stakeholders, with the ability to think strategically beyond individual bids.
