We're looking to employ a motivated, enthusiastic and versatile Reactive Roofing Contracts Manager with a broad skill set, who can adapt to different tasks and projects across multiple sites in North and South Ayrshire, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
About the RoleThe Reactive Roofing Contracts Manager will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of reactive and planned roofing works across multiple sites throughout North and South Ayrshire, Glasgow and Edinburgh. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high degree of versatility, technical expertise, and leadership, ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced, dynamic working environment.
Responsibilities- Act as the principal point of contact between internal departments, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring clear and effective communication at all levels.
- Ensure all works are undertaken in accordance with company policies, client requirements, and relevant statutory and regulatory obligations.
- Support the Principal Contracts Manager and Helpdesk Team in managing the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning through to practical completion and client handover.
- Liaise with clients in a professional and timely manner to manage expectations and resolve any issues or complaints effectively.
- Oversee site operations to ensure compliance with all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and reporting of project programmes, performance metrics, and site progress updates.
- Attend emergency and reactive call-outs as required to meet the operational needs of the business.
- Monitor safe working practices on all sites, ensuring adherence to current health and safety legislation.
- Manage, coordinate, and support site teams to achieve project objectives, maintaining high levels of productivity and workmanship.
- Conduct site inspections, quality assurance checks, and compliance audits to verify conformance with specifications and standards.
- Prepare and review detailed site reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Motivate, mentor, and develop team members to promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Encourage innovative working practices and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Identify and support business development opportunities through the delivery of excellent client service.
- Uphold and promote Everlast's core values, operational procedures, and corporate ethos across all aspects of work.

- Minimum 5 years' experience in construction site management or supervision, in multiple construction trades, preferably in roofing projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blue-prints.
- NVQ or equivalent
