Quantity Surveyor
Join us as a Quantity Surveyor at Morgan Sindall Infrastructure
, a leading provider of sustainable infrastructure across Scotland, with sites in Glasgow, Helensburgh and hybrid work options. You must be a UK Sole National and either hold or be able to obtain a SC level Security Clearance.
Our nuclear capabilities span operational reactor support, new build and decommissioning, nuclear defence facilities and other sensitive projects within highly regulated and secure sites. With an expanding portfolio, we proudly support customers in installing and maintaining existing assets.
Responsibilities- Manage and oversee cost planning, budgeting and cost control for multi‑disciplinary design and construction projects.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimise project costs while ensuring high‑quality workmanship.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, sub‑contracts and variations in accordance with project requirements.
- Analyse and report on project costs, risks and budget performance.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure project compliance with regulations, standards and company policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Previous experience in quantity surveying within a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods and cost management techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
