I’m working with a well-established residential developer that delivers high-quality, design-led housing through long-term partnerships across the Central Belt.

This is a role suited to someone who enjoys being properly involved in a project from start to finish, not just managing numbers from a distance. You’ll have autonomy, trust, and the backing of a commercial structure that values consistency, relationships and doing things the right way.

The role:

• Commercial management of residential projects from pre-contract through to final account
• Cost control, procurement and subcontractor management
• Preparation and agreement of valuations, variations and final accounts
• Working closely with site, design and client teams to ensure commercial performance
• Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff where required

What they’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within residential construction
• Strong understanding of cost control and subcontractor procurement
• Comfortable working in a partnership or framework-style environment
• Commercially astute, but pragmatic and relationship-focused
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (or equivalent experience)
