We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer with a proven track record in the Industrial Electrical Control and Automation sector. You will sell high‑quality industrial automation products and solutions—including PLC, control gear, drives, sensors, HMI, process instrumentation, and Ex equipment—to OEMs, end‑users, system integrators, and panel builders across Scotland.

• Drive sales of industrial automation solutions, achieving defined sales targets.
• Visit customer sites and premises, managing an existing portfolio and identifying new business opportunities.
• Develop a personalised sales plan and work independently while collaborating with the sales team.
• Travel on a Monday‑Friday basis as required, with flexibility for road travel.

• Sales and technical experience in the Industrial Automation industry with a record of sales success.
• Formal qualification in an Electrical/Electronic discipline (ONC/HND or above) desirable but not essential.
• Strong organisational, communication and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team player.
