• You will be a chartered geotechnical engineer with a proven technical leadership and project management track record.
• Mentoring junior geotechnical engineers; excellent communication skills are essential.
• Experience in Design and Build environments is preferred.
• You hold a degree in civil engineering or geology with a postgraduate qualification in a geotechnical subject and hold chartered status.
• You will help develop and expand our infrastructure and energy geotechnics capability across a broad spectrum of sectors.

• Academic background with a degree (ideally MSc or equivalent).
• Chartered status and proven experience in a fast‑moving engineering consultancy environment.
• Project management experience, including relationships with clients, work planning, and commercial management.
• Proven geotechnical design experience and numerical/analytical capabilities for foundations, slopes, and anchors, using tools such as Geo Studio, Repute, Wallap, etc.
• Digital geotechnical engineering capability, including AI and machine learning applications.
• Application of CDM Regulations in design and ground investigation.
• Excellent interpersonal, technical, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication, client liaison, and negotiation skills; competent report writing.
• Willingness to travel on short assignments within the UK and overseas; valid UK driving licence.
