Scotland – Airdrie (Monklands Hospital Replacement project)

• Plan, supervise and execute piling works to ensure safe, timely delivery and compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements. This includes setting out pile positions, levels and reference points and verifying alignment and tolerances before and during installation.
• Execute quality control for all piling activities: inspect reinforcement cages, verify concrete properties, supervise pile integrity tests (PIT), load tests and maintain accurate records such as pile logs, daily reports, material usage and test results. Identify and resolve technical and site‑related issues in coordination with design and project teams.
• Monitor progress against the approved programme, assist with short‑term planning, optimise the use of labour, plant and materials, and report progress and constraints to the Project Engineer or Construction Manager. Provide technical guidance to site personnel and promote high standards of workmanship and productivity.
• Manage, supervise and mentor junior engineering staff.

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline, or an industry‑recognised technical or engineering qualification.
• Approximately 4‑5 years of relevant technical and practical experience in an engineering role.
• Experience in piling.
