Structural Detail Design Engineer

Expleo Group is hiring a Structural Detail Design Engineer to support complex engineering projects across our service portfolio. This role is based in Glasgow, Scotland and is a Contract assignment.

• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings to meet industry standards.
• Ensure all design deliverables are accurate and delivered on schedule.
• Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders to coordinate design requirements.
• Support the entire project cycle from concept through construction and installation.
• Provide technical support during construction and installation phases.
• Perform self-verification of work and report progress and issues to line management.
• Maintain adherence to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) requirements.
• Assist in improving quality standards of outputs and in change embodiment.

• Hold an NC/HNC or equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
• Relevant industry experience or apprenticeship in the same discipline.

• Familiarity with shipbuilding/ship repair terminology and practices.
• Proficiency with parametric/spec-driven CAD systems in both 3D and 2D environments.
• Experience with FORAN and Windchill.

• Preferable T26 experience.

• Background in detail design processes, particularly stage 2 modelling and stage 3 outputs, on Naval or Commercial Marine projects.
• Experience with naval shipbuilding, new build, major conversion packages, or similar.

• BPSS clearance required.
