Senior Temporary Works Design Engineer

The company is a well‑established contractor whose in‑house design team supports their various infrastructure sectors in the design of a diverse range of temporary works covering a variety of projects from small to high‑profile multimillion‑pound schemes. This role would ideally suit a chartered or near chartered senior‑level design engineer with experience within temporary works design. You will be working in a fast‑paced environment where you will be managing multiple projects, mentoring more junior engineers and managing client relationships. A background in permanent works design can also be considered. The role covers the design of both above‑ground and below‑ground temporary works and candidates from various backgrounds (civil, structural, geotechnical) can be considered.

• BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering
• Chartered or near chartered member of ICE/IStructE
• Minimum 5 years' experience within temporary works design
• Excellent communication
• Ambitious with a drive to succeed and be part of a successful team
• Ability to design and manage multiple projects without supervision
