An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a prestigious civil engineering firm based in Glasgow. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all contractual and financial aspects of construction projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Undertake risk management, value engineering, and cost control.
  • Prepare and assess costings for tenders.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims and dispute resolution.
  • Analyse project outcomes and produce detailed progress reports.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current building contracts and industry regulations.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering projects.
  • Thorough understanding of construction methods and materials.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid knowledge of contract law and industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in relevant quantity surveying software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
