Advanced Apprentice Burner – BAE Systems

Salary:
Starting from £18,667 with annual progression through the scheme duration.
- Playing a pivotal part during our tank testing programme completing air and hydro tank testing activities.
- Supporting steelwork teams to achieve quality requirements during compartment surveys and inspections.
- Operation of CNC burning machinery manufacturing key components supporting programme requirements.
- Utilisation of oxy‑fuel and plasma thermal cutting equipment, producing, manipulating and preparing steel components supporting critical stages of major steelwork assembly.
- Performing Engineering Operations SVQ2
- National Certificate in Welding & Fabrication
- Optional Higher National Certificate in Fabrication, Welding & Inspection
- Level 7 Engineering Diploma Pathway B:
