Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections and tests on metallurgical samples and materials.
  • Analyse test results and compile detailed reports to assist in decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and material usage.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Implement and adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist in developing new metallurgical processes and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operators.
  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a metallurgy or materials testing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of metal properties, processing techniques, and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using metallurgical analysis equipment and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules in a dynamic industry.
