Lifting Engineer

Position

We are seeking a proactive Lifting Equipment Engineer to join our busy Glasgow depot. You will be responsible for testing, inspection, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of lifting hire equipment. From ensuring equipment is safe and compliant to supporting customer needs with efficient turnaround, you will be central to maintaining the high operational standards Speedy is known for. You may also attend customer sites occasionally to support long‑term hire contracts, perform servicing, and respond to breakdowns, helping to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 42 hours per week. Flexible working options available, including job shares and amended hours.

• Strong technical knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical lifting equipment
