First People Solutions is recruiting for a leading consulting engineer in Glasgow.

This company has built a strong and stable presence across civil, structural, and infrastructure engineering, and are recognised as a well-respected consultancy. They've received multiple industry awards for sustainability, design excellence, and innovation, with several projects celebrated for their cultural and environmental impact.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to take a lead role within their Glasgow office. They are looking for a hands-on lead who can provide day-to-day guidance and support to a team of graduate engineers and technicians.

Your experience, background and approach to work will include:

8-12 years of experience working within a design engineering environment with strong technical and design capability
Skilled in the design of road and drainage infrastructure for small to medium sized development projects. Solid understanding of current standards, SUDS requirements and best practices essential
Proficient with Civil 3D and Info Drainage software
Confident working directly with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
Experience mentoring and supporting junior engineers
Chartered or working toward chartered status
