Quality Engineer / HSE Advisor

Glasgow | Full-time | Permanent

My client is looking for a hands‑on Quality Engineer / HSE Advisor to help keep standards high, customers confident, and the workshop running safely and smoothly.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being close to real manufacturing output, not just paperwork. You will support quality across the full delivery cycle and play a practical role in shaping day‑to‑day H&S culture.

What you will be doing

Building and maintaining quality documentation such as Quality Plans and ITPs.
Working with suppliers, audits, inspections, selection, and issue resolution.
Supporting workshop inspections from goods‑in to final release.
Providing H&S guidance and supporting risk assessments for workshop work.

What my client is looking for

Experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.
A practical, organised and confident communicator.
Engineering or Quality qualification plus NEBOSH General Certificate.

Nice to have

Fabrication or machining knowledge
CSWIP 3.1
Audit qualification
Offshore regulatory awareness

Sage 200 or similar MRP / ERP e...
