Waterman Group is a leading engineering and environmental consultancy, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across the built environment. Our Glasgow office is growing, and we are looking for a skilled Revit Technician to join our Structures team.

The Role

As a Revit Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality structural drawings and models to support the design and delivery of projects across a variety of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, defence, and mixed-use developments. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of design information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D Revit models for building structures projects.
  • Support engineers in the preparation of design documentation and technical reports.
  • Assist in coordinating structural designs with other disciplines (architects, MEP, civils).
  • Maintain drawing and model accuracy in line with project requirements and standards.
  • Participate in internal design reviews and contribute to quality assurance processes.
  • Support the implementation of BIM processes and standards within the team.
About You
  • Experience as a Revit Technician, ideally within building structures.
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience delivering projects across a range of sectors and industries.
  • Basic knowledge of civils would be advantageous.
  • Good understanding of UK building structures; previous experience in oil & gas or pipeline design will not be suitable for this role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Strong communication and team working skills.
