Senior Engineering Geologist – Ian Farmer Associates

Join Ian Farmer Associates (1998) Limited, part of the RSK Group, to work as a Senior Engineering Geologist in Glasgow. The role is full-time, permanent and involves managing ground investigation projects.

• Supervise ground investigation crews (cable percussion, rotary, and window sampling)
• Conduct trial pitting and log soil and rock to BS5930 / Eurocode 7 standards
• Groundwater and gas monitoring
• Produce Phase 1 Desk Studies
• Assist in preparing factual and interpretive reports
• Manage projects effectively and professionally

• Industry experience in engineering geology or geotechnical investigation
• Degree in geology, earth sciences, or a master’s in engineering geology/geotechnical engineering
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/work away from home
• Located within reasonable distance of Glasgow or willing to relocate
• CSCS Card, First Aid Training, and SSSTS certification
