Salary:  Starting from £23,272 with annual progression through the scheme duration.

What you’ll be doing :

Use a 3D modelling/CAD Software to design ship’s structure, internal layouts as well as the ships pipework, electrical & ventilation systems.

Produce and develop designs in line with specifications and all quality and technical standards.

Carry out detail design appraisals in assigned areas to ensure all standards are maintained.

Carry out investigations into operational problems or developments.

Develop and prepare solutions, either on your own or as a member of a team.

Qualification requirements

4 National 5s (or equivalent) at grade C or above which must include Maths (excluding Application of Maths) & English & a Science / Technical subject.

AND

3 Highers (or equivalent) at grade C or above in English & Maths (excluding Application of Maths) & a Science / Technical subject.
