• Develop and deliver entertainment, factual entertainment and cultural event programming across platforms.
• Lead co‑commissioning efforts with BBC Network teams to maximise reach and impact including attendance at Network genre slate and development meetings.
• Nurture on‑screen talent and champion new voices, especially in comedy entertainment.
• Commission digital‑first content for platforms including You Tube and Tik Tok.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure editorial excellence and promotional success.

• Strong track record in content creation or development in entertainment, factual entertainment or events.
• Strong understanding of current broadcasting trends and audience needs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Impeccable editorial judgement and creative flair with a track record of developing new ideas.
• Clear understanding of digital content strategies for You Tube, Tik Tok and emerging platforms.
• Experience in talent development and knowledge of Scottish on‑screen talent.
• Ability to manage budgets and deliver complex projects to deadline.
