Finance Manager – Fixed Term Contract (Glasgow)

Lusona Consultancy is partnered with a utilities organisation in Glasgow to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager on a one‑year fixed term contract. The role offers the opportunity to oversee financial operations and drive strategic financial planning within a dynamic sector. The Finance Manager will report to the Financial Controller and be part of a wider finance team.

This offering includes a competitive salary between £50,000 and £60,000 per annum, generous holidays, company pension, and 2 days of office working per week.

• Lead and manage financial and management accounting activities.
• Provide technical accounting oversight with commentary.
• Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Offer strategic financial advice to support business growth and decision‑making.
• Monitor financial performance and recommend improvements.
• Conduct financial planning & analysis and present management information to the business.

• Strong background in financial and management accounting.
• CIMA, ACCA or ICAS membership.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and leadership skills.
• Experience in a fixed‑term contract setting preferred.
