Assistant Management Accountant

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with our established, long standing and loyal client in Glasgow to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant into their settled and growing finance department. The Assistant Management Accountant will report directly into the Finance Director and be tasked with reporting within a Group structure with a focus on P&L alongside monthly management accounts, assisting with cashflows whilst maintaining transactional finance across accounts payable and receivable.

This role will suit a dynamic and ambitious individual who is perhaps considering commencing professional accounting qualifications in the future and on a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of P&L statements.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts for multiple companies within the Group.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Assisting with the preparation of the management reporting pack.
• Transactional management including accounts payable, reconciling supplier statements.
• Accounts receivable including issuing statements as required.
