Dir, P3, Business Audit – Director (AVP equivalent)

Join the Internal Audit team at Morgan Stanley in Glasgow as a Director to support assurance activities for Global Operations, focusing on Corporate Actions, Reconciliation, Transaction Reporting, Tax, and Payments.

• Identify risk and impact to coverage area to prioritize focus areas.
• Execute and lead assurance activities (audits, continuous monitoring, closure verification) to assess risk and formulate view on control environment.
• Facilitate conversations with stakeholders on risks, their impact, and management effectiveness.
• Manage multiple deliverables in line with team priorities, delivering high‑quality work that adheres to methodology and re‑performance standards.
• Lead walkthrough meetings, document clear narratives, and develop audit test plans.
• Leverage data for analysis of coverage area.
• Provide feedback and participate in formal and on‑the‑job training.

• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of banking, securities, investment products, regulations, and markets.
• Experience in internal audit or risk preferred.
• Strong understanding of audit principles, methodology, tools and processes.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Data analysis skills.
• Commitment to inclusive behaviours.
• Ability to ask meaningful questions and adapt messaging.
• Relevant certifications (CIA, CA, CPA, CFSA, CISA, CAIA, SIE, CFA) preferred.
