A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced paraplanner/senior paraplanner to join a leading chartered financial advice firm in Glasgow due to continued growth. The firm supports career development, with a focus on becoming a career paraplanner and possibly moving into financial advice over time.

• Preparation of Suitability Reports
• Liaising with product providers to collate pension and investment information for replacement contracts
• Providing technical support to the team with paraplanning and research support
• Carrying out market research on behalf of advisers prior to meetings
• Assisting in the ongoing due diligence reviews of investment funds and platforms
• Providing support to Financial Advisers / Managing Directors
• Collaborating with a close-knit, warm, and professional business team, sharing knowledge and suggesting improvements

• Experienced paraplanner, either having completed exams or making significant progress towards full certification (exam support provided)
• Background in pensions and investments with excellent report‑writing skills
• Experience using research tools such as FE Analytics; knowledge of Intelligent Office is advantageous but not required
• Committed, enthusiastic, flexible individual with the ability to bring new ideas to the firm
• Potential to assist or manage less experienced team members if desired
