Credit Sights is currently seeking a Research Associate based out of our Glasgow office.

• Conduct detailed reviews of financial statements and company reports for corporate and financial institutions to support credit analysis
• Perform research on company financial performance and industry trends to inform investment decisions
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of data through rigorous quality assurance processes
• Contribute to the creation of client-facing reports and research products
• Collaborate with internal analysts and product specialists to enhance research outputs and deliver actionable insights

• You hold a degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, data science, or a related field
• You have a foundational understanding of accounting and finance principles
• You have experience working with structured data and can interpret complex datasets to extract meaningful insights
• You demonstrate strong attention to detail and consistently produce high-quality analytical outputs
• You possess excellent written and verbal communication skill

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VBA) and the Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with Python and data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, Num Py)
• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
• A collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for working in a team‑oriented setting
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to shape your role and contribute to business growth
• Familiarity with credit markets, fixed income, or financial analysis
