We’re working with a market-leading PLC known for innovation, trust, and consistent performance. The organisation partners with some of the biggest names across the UK and beyond.

They are looking to appoint a Financial Reporting Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is suitable for a technically strong and commercially astute qualified accountant to own group reporting, lead the board reporting cycle, and contribute to strategic projects, systems optimisation, and stakeholder engagement.

This is a broad, impactful opportunity offering scope, visibility, and direct access to executive-level reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Own and lead the external reporting process, including statutory accounts, interim results, and annual reports, ensuring compliance with PLC and AIM requirements.
  • Produce high-quality board packs, management accounts, KPIs, and actionable financial insights to support executive decision-making.
  • Oversee Group consolidations, including intercompany eliminations and audit coordination, acting as the primary contact for external auditors.
  • Drive ERP system improvements to enhance financial controls, reporting efficiency, and data integrity.
  • Ensure full compliance with evolving IFRS standards and maintain up-to-date accounting policies across the Group.
  • Collaborate with external advisers on VAT, corporation tax, and other tax compliance processes.
  • Contribute to strategic projects such as M&A activity, funding reviews, and working capital optimisation.
  • Partner cross-functionally to present complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven expertise in IFRS, statutory reporting, and group consolidations, with a strong understanding of technical accounting standards.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with solid post-qualification experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident and credible communicator, able to present complex financial information clearly and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Hands-on, highly organised, capable of operating at both a detailed level and with a strategic mindset.

This is a standout opportunity for a high-calibre finance professional seeking a broad, influential role within a forward-thinking organisation.
