Personal Tax Manager

Meraki Talent is partnering with one of the Scotland's largest independent accountancy firms to recruit a Private Client Tax Manager. The position is based in Glasgow, although flexible working arrangements are possible.

This role involves providing high level technical service to clients, ensuring timely and accurate advice that meets their evolving needs. The position includes both compliance and advisory aspects, with opportunities to collaborate within the firm to support clients outside of your direct portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have considerable experience and expertise within Inheritance Tax, Trusts, Estates, and Partnerships.

• Manage client portfolios and foster strong relationships within the wider professional network, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for further business development.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the department by securing new clients and collaborating with senior management and business development teams.
• Oversee and support your team in managing their client portfolios, ensuring deadlines and demands are met across the client engagement team on time.
• Participate in daily team meetings, ensuring that internal and external expectations are being met, and assist leadership in setting and achieving the business' strategic objectives.
• Consult with external advisors to provide high-level tax advice.
• Manage workflows and delegate tasks effectively to ensure your team receives the necessary support.

This position is open to individuals with a strong and proven background in Personal / Private Client Tax. While qualifications such as CTA, ATT, or ACCA are desirable, substantial experience and expertise will also be considered.
