Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant (Part-Time, 12-Month Fixed Term) Your new company Join a dynamic and collaborative finance team within a large public sector organisation committed to delivering high-quality financial services and governance. Your new role As a Finance Assistant, you'll play a key role in managing financial data and supporting the delivery of accurate and timely finance services.

Your responsibilities will include:
Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions Preparing and reconciling bank accounts and petty cash Supporting expense and procurement card administration Assisting with financial reporting and audits Providing advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders What you'll need to succeed We're looking for someone with:
Relevant financial experience Strong understanding of accounting processes and procedures Excellent Excel skills and general IT proficiency Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and analytical ability Effective organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
