I'm recruiting for a Billing Assistant to join a business in Glasgow. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll play a key part in the firm's billing process, working closely with Partners, clients and finance teams.

If you enjoy detail-driven work, ownership of processes, and being part of a supportive professional services environment, this is a role well worth exploring.

Please note - this is an initial 12 month FTC.

The role

* Monitoring Partner and client billing portfolios

* Ensuring bills are issued within agreed firm time frames

* Producing and analysing billing reports

* Processing a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently

* Inputting billing amendments onto the system

* Responding to billing-related queries from clients and internal stakeholders

* Liaising with the eBilling team on billing guidelines and portal requirements

* Requesting credit notes and re-issues via finance workflows

* Working closely with wider finance teams to ensure accurate and timely billing

What I'm looking for

* Experience working in a professional services environment

* A background in finance or billing

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Confidence dealing with clients, Partners and senior stakeholders

* Proficiency in MS Excel and Word

* Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
