OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join an in-house Occupational Health Department, in a Full-Time fixed term contract role (12 months likely to extend). This exciting hybrid opportunity will see you join a multidisciplinary team in Glasgow.

The Role:

This role offers the ideal chance for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to deliver core occupational health services and health surveillance, alongside your key priorities to support improvements in clinical governance arrangements and introduce clinical audit into the Service, therefore previous experience in these areas is essential.

Required Skills:

To be the successful Occupational Health Clinical Lead candidate for this role, you'll have:

  • An NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse with post-registration experience and a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health.
  • Proven case management and occupational health experience, including Clinical History Taking, Physical Examination, and health surveillance.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and experience in health promotion activities.
  • Experience in data analysis, report preparation, and supporting Health and Wellbeing projects.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging Health and Safety legislation and clinical guidance.
  • Experience in developing and implementing Health and Wellbeing policies and procedures.
  • Strong independent working, decision-making, and effective communication skills.
  • Commitment to CPD and the ability to plan, organise, and manage tasks efficiently.
  • PVG Scheme membership is required for regulated work with protected adults.
  • Full driving licence or ability to travel as required.
