For mentoring, you will work primarily with students with mental health issues and/or autistic spectrum disorders. For study support, you will work with students with a range of conditions.

Employed on an ad hoc worker contract with guaranteed minimum hours, you will be offered a minimum of 6 hours work per week during term time. You will provide one-to-one support for students and liaise with Disability & Wellbeing Service staff to ensure individual student needs are met effectively.

Educated to degree level and with a sound understanding of disability related issues in higher education, you will have experience of working with students in a higher education setting and, ideally, a good awareness of the challenges experienced by people with mental health issues and/or autistic spectrum disorders.
