Job Overview

Shandon Projects is seeking a part‑time Healthcare Assistant for our client, Apollo Home Healthcare, in Durham. The role involves providing person‑centred care in the comfort of clients' homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage clinical interventions and assist with care routines.
• Support clients in meaningful activities – spending time with family, community outings, arts and crafts, outdoor play, educational games, and sensory activities.
• Assist with bedtime routines, offering companionship and staying attentive to care needs.
• Engage younger clients in favourite activities.

Shifts & Compensation

• Part Time – Days, Nights & Pop‑Ins; shift times vary.
• Pay Rate: £13.00 – £15.50 per hour with enhancements for nights and weekends.

What You’ll Need

• 3 months of care experience.
• Confidence with medication administration, personal care, moving and handling.
