Rate:
Up to £400 per day (Outside IR35)

Our client, a leading organisation within the digital and technology space, is hiring a Contract PHP Developer with strong Yii framework experience to support the development and enhancement of business-critical applications.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a well-established platform, working alongside an experienced delivery team in a collaborative, outcome-driven environment.

• Develop and maintain PHP applications using the Yii framework
• Enhance existing systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to deliver new features
• Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code
• Support testing, debugging, and deployment activities

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery against agreed timelines.

• Strong commercial experience with PHP
• Proven experience working with the Yii framework
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture and modern web development practices
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, team-based setting

There is no sponsorship on offer for this role and you must be willing to commute to the office 2 days per week.
